Attention Folks- Cleone Uecker is pleased to announce her full time retirement as owner of the South Dakota Horse Sales. I leave it in the very qualified hands of Kyle and Pam Petersen. The name, South Dakota Horse Sales, will remain the same and the phone number as well. The first sale is scheduled for May 4th. Consign now

(Reminder: All out-of-state loose horses need Neg. Coggins test as well)
Rope Cattle (if consigned): 1PM
Used Saddles: 1PM
Preview (indoor arena): 11:30 AM
Catalog/Open Consignment Sale for Ride/Lead-ins: 1:00 PM

Checks available sale day as per USDA Rules & Regulations (for loose and open consignment horses)

ALL OUT-OF-STATE HORSES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A NEG. COGGINS TEST. In order to comply with State & Federal regulations, All OUT-OF-STATE horses are also required to have a Health Certificate. Our Attending Veterinarian is available to write a Health Certificate for out of state Buyers purchases at no charge.

The difference is the horses never know exactly which (flight) horse trailer they'll be leaving on, or which state they'll be headed for when they leave. It's rare to see someone bring a horse to sell and leave with an empty trailer--sellers are buyers as much as buyers are sellers.
