When you sign the printed form, you will be agreeing to the contract terms/rules (1-8) as stated below.

1. CATALOGUE FEE must accompany consignment form. All other fees will be deducted from your check. 8.5%($40 minimum) commission. No sale fee 1% of final bid ($40 minimum), plus miscellaneous fees: Yardage/Ins. - $3.50, Vet Inspection - $2.00, Vet Consultation - $0.50, Halter/Lead Rope (to go with horse) - $2.50.
2. ORIGINAL! REGISTRATION PAPERS & SIGNED TRANSFER with consignment form and consignment fee MUST be received to catalogue your horse. Note: Weanlings CAN SELL on application papers.
3. Seller accepts & assumes responsibility on bids not honored.
4. Horses are catalogued IN THE ORDER consignments are RECEIVED in the office.
5. All OUT-OF-STATE HORSES must have health certificates. All out-of-state horses EXCEPT those from Montana and North Dakota require a negative Coggins test for shipment to South Dakota. Buyers requiring a Coggins test for interstate travel can have one done by our on-premises vet for $25. PLEASE NOTE IN YOUR COMMENTS IF YOUR HORSE IS COGGINS TESTED.
6. CHECKS for all catalogued horses will be in the mail five days after the sale, with exception of questionable soundness or reg. papers not in order.
7. If for some unforeseen problem, you are unable to bring your consigned horse to the sale, you will be assessed a $150.00 "NO SHOW" FEE. This fee will be credited on your selling commission if the same horse is re-catalogued within the next several months.
8. Horses must be GUARANTEED SOUND, bad habits and blemishes noted unless stated otherwise in the comments.

IMPORTANT: We DO NOT skip transfers! If registration papers are not in your name, we will accept the papers only if the transfer to you is filed out in its entirety, with your address and date of purchase. A new transfer signed by you must be attached to first transfer. No extra fee for second transfer. IMPORTANT NOTICE! - YOU MUST enclose ORIGINAL Registration papers & signed transfers with your consignment forms (NOT COPIES!).

 

WEANLING CONSIGNORS! All catalogued weanlings must be halter broke!
